The new power of Lamboghini Huracán Performante, also in the Spyder version
15 Feb 2018Lamborghini unveiled a new ultra-performance car at 2017 Geneva Motor Show. As its name implies, Lamborghini Huracán Performante maximizes the performance of this supersport car, designed with the goal of making it the fastest and the most powerful Huracán ever existed. High performance due to a cautious care of every detail. Lamborghini’s goals are reached: to build the car, Lambo’s Research and Development team used new technologies in order to make the product the best version ever. Innovation is the key-word for Lamborghini. Furthermore, one of the most important thing is that this car meets the needs of the people, even the toughest. Everyone has to feel the beauty, the power and the pleasure of running a Lambo.
With a V10 engine and 640 hp, Lamborghini Huracán Performante is the most powerful and the fastest car: Marco Mapelli, a 29 years old racing driver, broke a lap-record on the tortuous and complicated route of Nürburgring, 21 km long. Moreover tha car is run by an intelligent system called ALA (Aerodynamic Lamborghini Active), used to improve the dynamic performance of the vehicle: basically, it increases the vertical load to assist stability and it reduces aerodynamic resistance to assist acceleration (200 km/h in 8.9 seconds!). The system is automatic, simple and also completely integrated into the design.
Another very important feature is the weight reduction: compared to other Huracáns, this one is lighter, thanks to the use of carbon fiber material in all the details of the car (the process is named Forged Composites). The upholstery is also made of Alcantara, another lightweight material that covers not only the seats but the entire interior part of the car.
Once again, Lamborghini made the point: the Spyder version of this racing car is about to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2018, in a few days.
